Time Spy results have already leaked for the GeForce RTX 2080.

If that leak is true the results are good and is faster than a GTX 1080 Ti. The results are on par with the Titan Xp in shading performance.

If you have a 1080 or 1080ti already in your gaming rig you can cope with those cards and wait for the 3000 series that Raytracing will have become mature and already implemented in many games.

Prices that spotted in EU based eshops are listed below. They removed them quickly and a screen shot was not possible.

Intel Core i5 9600K for 299 € + VAT

Intel Core i7 9700K for EUR 567 € + VAT (no Hyperthreading)

Intel Core i9 9900K for EUR 732 € + VAT

Let’s hope that intel will do the right move and sell them in a competitive price range because with the money that you will spend (according to that eshop) on a i9 9900k you can buy a 16core AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X that is multiple times faster in multi core applications.

After a lot of speculation for the performance of the RTX GPUs, Nvidia has shared some internal game performance benchmarks.

The comparison is  between RTX 2080 vs GTX 1080 and the settings used are not known except that the resolution is 4K. We should mention that DLSS work only in games that do support it.

I will advise to wait and not preorder until the first independent reviews come out. There are many reasons like driver quality (as is a new platform) and the real performance in non RT games.

Mate 20 will feature a Kirin 980 APU and it will be launched this October. This chipset is the first one fabricated with the 7nm process. It will be amazing to see the benchmarking results as it might be faster that  “A” series processors from Apple.
